Staff and Board

Reporting to the Board of Directors, Lisa is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing CHAI’s vision, mission, and overall direction. Lisa loves to walk her two Boston Terriers, Lucie and Dezi and also loves working in the yard. No information regarding the consequences of having two dogs causes her to work in the yard.

Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for the finance and accounting operations including, internal and external audits, accounting, Human Resources and payroll administration. The Director of Finance takes a leadership role in financial condition analysis, budget management, and financial reporting. When Craig is not playing with numbers, you can see him cheering on his Green-Bay Packers sans cheese head.

Candace is responsible for the oversight of the entire program and services team. She is accountable for all the residents, clients and staff and the actual day to day operations of our homes. In addition, she is responsible for our Day Habilitation Program and our Wolens Program (community outreach).

Christopher is responsible for CHAI’s development efforts ensuring that the organization has the resources required to enable our residents to live full, rich, lives. Christopher oversees CHAI’s Annual Campaign, CHAI LIFE event, and community engagement initiatives.

Erica manages the direct care staff and supervises the Levy 1 and 2, Yale, Miller 1 and 2, Toub and Bauer homes, part of the home and community-based services program. This position creates staff schedules, leads annual planning meetings and is responsible for the safety and well-being of clients.

VonGretchen is responsible for ensuring the continuity of services and supports through the implementation of service planning and coordination meetings as well as ensuring compliance with state guidelines to adhere to Medicaid, Probate and Social Security requirements for all persons receiving Home and Community-Based Medicaid waiver services.

Arrielle assures all programs and services including assisted living, HCS and TxHML are in compliance with all regulations. She is also responsible for all staff training and maintains our commitment to excellence by evaluating and monitoring the quality of our programs and services.

Amanda trains new employees and provides ongoing education for current employees, ensuring consistent care for our residents and increased staff retention.

Brandy functions as the Residential Supervisor of the Toub and Bauer homes and staff.

LaTerria functions as the Residential Supervisor of the Todd and Utay homes and staff.

Tina functions as the Residential Supervisor of the Yale home and staff.

Fredia functions as the Residential Supervisor of the Levy 1 and Levy 2 homes and staff.

Brittany leads the Individualization Skills and Socialization (ISS) class that some of CHAI’s residents attend during the week at the JCC.

Yonvoshkia oversees the logistics of transportation of CHAI’s group home residents to their various medical and dental appointments and ensures that prescription medications are distributed to the residents in

Anita is responsible for CHAI’s accounts payables. She completes payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

Bettina provides accounting support for our various forms of income and accounts receivable.

Holly supports donor stewardship, donation processing, events management, volunteerism efforts, and community partnerships.

Kim is the first person you’ll see when you visit the Central Office. She supports the leadership team and takes on a variety of responsibilities within Programming and Development.

Jelil is part of the nursing staff responsible for managing the individualized client care by promoting and restoring client’s health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to CHAI residents, clients and families; and supervising assigned staff members.

Pamela is part of the nursing staff responsible for managing the individualized client care by promoting and restoring client’s health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to CHAI residents, clients and families; and supervising assigned staff members.

Erica is part of the nursing staff responsible for managing the individualized client care by promoting and restoring client’s health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to CHAI residents, clients and families; and supervising assigned staff members.
