Socialization & Support Groups

Club CHAI is open to adults with intellectual disabilities in the local area who are looking for opportunities to feel included, supported and empowered in a safe environment. Members meet quarterly for opportunities to such as:

• Dave & Busters
• Studio Movie Grill (private theater specifically for Club CHAI!)
• Spring Fling Dance
• Winter Holiday Party
• Frisco Rough Riders baseball games
• Dallas Mavericks basketball games
• Bowlounge bowling parties

CHAI Connects provides an opportunity for families to feel safe and supported and share their obstacles and triumphs with an emphasis in the field of IDD, Medicaid waiver navigation, guardianship, social security and more. It’s a resource that provides support, education, and mentorship and helps families navigate through the processes of state agency requirements. CHAI Connects is meant to build long term relationships with family members of CHAI residents/clients and potential residents/clients. CHAI Connects will have quarterly meetings that will include education and support.
