What is QMB and SLMB?

Qualified Medicare Beneficiary is a Medicare Savings Program. It pays an individual’s Medicare Part B premium, copays and deductible making healthcare 100% covered. You qualify if your income is less than $1,005 per month. Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary is a Medicare Savings program that pays an individual’s Medicare Part B premium. You qualify if your income is more than $1,005, but less than $1,206.
