Community Partners

CHAI separates itself from other group home providers by prioritizing community engagement for the CHAI residents. Our residents receive services from several partner organizations who serve adults with intellectual disabilities across DFW.

Additionally, since many of CHAI’s residents are Jewish, and the Dallas Jewish community has always been committed to ensuring that all CHAI residents – regardless of religious background – are welcomed at community events, holiday services, and other volunteer activities.

CHAI frequently collaborates with Jewish congregations, the Jewish Community Center , and other community groups to create socialization opportunities for the CHAI residents. For over four decades, the commitment to the wellbeing of CHAI’s residents has been a beacon of the inclusiveness and philanthropy in the local Jewish community.
