Residential Group Homes
Residential Services
CHAI proudly operates and maintains nine community homes located in residential neighborhoods throughout North Dallas and Richardson. Each home provides a safe, welcoming environment where residents receive personalized support, assistance, and supervision from dedicated, compassionate staff.
Levels of care range from semi-independent living to 24/7 support, ensuring each of our individual’s needs are met with dignity and respect. Residents can remain with CHAI throughout their adult lives, as long as our services continue to meet their evolving needs — providing stability, consistency, and a true sense of home. One of our proudest achievements is how we can support our individuals as they ‘age in place’- with several of our residents having been with CHAI for over 30 years!
We partner closely with those we serve to create meaningful, engaging activities that reflect their interests and personal goals such as Special Olympics, book club, Club CHAI social club, Best Buddies, Habima Theater and so much more. The CHAI team focuses on strengthening daily living skills and building confidence, always maintaining individualized and person-centered practices that respect each person’s preferences and unique journey toward their definition of greater independence.
At CHAI, our community homes are more than just places to live — they are warm, welcoming spaces that are thoughtfully maintained and continually updated to ensure comfort and safety. Our dedicated staff build meaningful relationships with each resident, providing regular communication and updates to families, so you always feel informed and connected.
